A Decision That Matters

For the Juniors and Seniors in High School,
Deciding on a college can affect the rest of your life. These decisions weigh heavily on your shoulders on top of all the school work, clubs, sports and social life going on during this time period. It does matter where you go to school, but in the big picture it matters what you do in college. There is a decision that will affect you no matter what college you go to.

Picking a major chooses the career path you are going to take in life after you graduate. The best advice would be to follow your heart and not listen to what others say. All majors are important and does affect the world.

Most of these majors are some of the most popular majors in college and range in a variety of subjects, from science to literature. Now if you are uncertain about what major to decide here is a list of ten to research to figure out what is best for you and to follow your heart.

    Oh, and unless you're good at algorithmic thinking, the Computer Science field might not be the best fit.

  2. As a person who went through this same processes, I know the struggle of choosing a major all too well. I think that in this post you could have mentioned something about declaring minors. For those students who can't make a decision on what to major in, there is more often than not an opportunity to do both. For example, by having one idea as a major and the other being a minor or by purely double-majoring.

    Overall, I think that those 10 majors stand true to many college students and are very popular among colleges!
